Following a well-earned night of rest after our long journey, we had breakfast together and then chilled in the hotel until our tour guide (Gilbert) arrived.

We then headed to Chicago Town.
When we arrived in Chicago Town, we headed to the famous 'Chicago Theatre'. Once there, we met the Theatre's tour guides who showed us around this breathtakingly beautiful building.

We then broke into small groups and went to different places for lunch.
After lunch, we spent some time enjoying the sights of 'Navy Pier' and seeing the famous 'Cloud Gate (Bean)' sculpture.

We then went on a scenic river cruise, learning about the history of Chicago’s skyscrapers and the city’s towering architecture. We saw the Sears Tower and the Wrigley Building and heard how the flow of the river was reversed - an amazing feat of modern engineering!

After our amazing cruise, we went for our early evening meal at Harry Caray's Tavern where we enjoyed various salads, traditional Chicago lemonade, chicken burgers, fries, beef burgers, plant burgers and chocolate brownies.
