Happy Friday, everyone

This week, to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day, students from across New Bridge Group took part in a project to create a Peace Tree to remember the stories of survivors.

It was truly uplifting to be part of the event at Thomas Ashton. The installation created by the young people alongside members of Samuel Laycock, Hawthorns and other schools and members of the community was admired by the Mayor, councillors and other visitors alike.

The young people showed themselves to be very thoughtful and Thomas did a fabulous job with the photographs, taking a few tips from the press photographer!
