Joan was previously Vice Chair of Governors at New Bridge School and has a huge amount of experience in the social care and voluntary sector. Before retiring, Joan was an area manager within the social care team in Oldham. As a local community activist, Joan has led on both SRB6 and associated housing renewal grants.
Joan is active within the local area committee and has a passion for supporting families and clients from challenging backgrounds.
Joan is the Standards Trustee, Vice Chair of Trustees and sits on the Pay Committee and Disciplinary Committee.
