CEO Update – 15.9.23

As the second week of the year comes to a close, I wanted to give you all an update on where I’ve visited and what I’ve been up to so far.

It has been a pleasure to meet some more of our dedicated staff, parents and partners of our wonderful Multi Academy Trust.

This week saw a fantastic face-to-face induction for our new starters.

It was great to see the enthusiasm of the new staff members as they begin their journey with us.

The induction provided an opportunity to give them a comprehensive overview of our trust and extend a warm welcome to our community of schools and settings.
Elsewhere, I had the privilege of meeting with some colleagues from the Local Authority.

Collaboration is key, and it is always positive to engage with likeminded professionals who share our passion for education.

Together, we are working towards shaping the future of our boroughs, ensuring our students and young people receive the best possible opportunities.

One of the highlights of this week was my visit to Hollinwood Academy. It was an absolute delight to be on duty with the little ones.

To see them having fun and to find out some more about their unique needs was an invaluable experience.

Our dedicated staff go above and beyond to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for these children, and I am extremely proud (already!) of the work they do.

Continuing my visits, I had the privilege to see the new Link Centre site at New Bridge Horizons.

This facility promises to be a game changer for our service users. Its impact will extend beyond the physical building, providing them with skills for society and adulthood, enriching experiences and a pathway that is perfectly suited to them.

It is still early days, but I have already experienced our vision coming to life – ‘Creating Meaningful Futures’.

As we head into the weekend, I want to share my gratitude to all our staff members who go above and beyond to build an inclusive and nurturing environment within our trust.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
