CEO’s Blog (5th May 2023)
Hello everyone,
I hope you are having a great week.
This week, I wanted to talk about something that I believe has been one of the best parts of my job as a Multi Academy Trust CEO, and that is meeting the young people in our schools.
It is always a joy to visit our schools and see firsthand the fantastic work that our teachers and support staff are doing with our students. What I enjoy most of all though, is talking to the young people themselves and getting to know them better.
It is amazing to see the passion and energy that our students have for learning and exploring new ideas. They are the future of our society, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they have the opportunities they need to succeed.
What I enjoy most about meeting students is hearing their stories. I love hearing about their dreams and aspirations, their challenges and triumphs, and how they want to make a difference in the world.
I met Jasper at Samuel Laycock this week. HE asked me plenty of questions about my role as CEO and told me about his passion for all things technology. It was a great conversation.
Every conversation with a student is a reminder of why we do what we do at our schools. It is an affirmation of our mission and values, and it helps keep us focused on the importance of the work we do every single day.
So, as we continue our work to provide our students with the best possible offer, let us remember that each and every one of them is truly unique.
They are unique individuals with their own hopes and dreams, and it is up to us to help them achieve those dreams.
I look forward to continuing to work with our amazing teachers, staff and young people as we continue to create meaningful futures.
Take care
