CEO’s Blog – 25th November 2022

In exactly one month’s time, it will be Christmas Day, the second Christmas since COVID-19 restrictions ended.

It is amazing to think how quickly that time has passed, and how well our children, young people and staff teams have adapted to things ‘going back to normal’.

Everyone across the MAT and Group is looking forward to a run up to Christmas with all the things we ‘normally’ do at this time of year.

I’m thinking of Christmas shows and festive activities, but for some of our College students, this also means flexing their entrepreneurial muscles, as part of New Bridge Enterprise.

You can support the students in their efforts by paying them a visit at one of their Christmas Market stalls, listed here:

You can view everything they have to offer in their catalogue:

New Bridge Enterprise Catalogue

Experiences like this are fantastic for our young people, and the skills they gain from taking part in the whole project are many and varied.

Just look at the enthusiasm from the supporting staff!

It’s great to see.

Just like it would be great to see some of our families and stakeholders supporting the New Bridge College Enterprise students this year.

The next time I write my blog, we’ll be in December and the run up to Christmas will have officially started.

It’s good to be back to ‘normal’, but it’s up to us to make the ‘normal’ feel special.

Have a great weekend

Graham
