Chicago – Day 4
So where do we start when trying to describe day 4 of the Chicago trip?
Perhaps by saying we had workshops on the 19th floor of the Apple Headquarters in Chicago city centre?
Or the fact we are starting to develop new ideas for apps with the Everyone Can Code Journal.
Or maybe how we had a photo composition interactive workshop inside Apple’s flagship store on the Chicago river?
Yes, we did all that in a school day. It truly was an amazing environment to learn!
What you can see above:
Students were given a tour of the Apple store and learnt all about depth of field, leading lines and how to compose a shot in the Apple store.
Students walked across the city of Chicago and the Chicago river taking some incredible photos…and after two days of sunshine we experienced some rain, but that did not dampen the spirits or the creativity. In fact, they used it to their advantage working with monochrome photography and high contrast filters. Check out some of the incredible photos they took at the bottom of this blog…
After the ‘walk and shoot session’ Apple mirrored the images on their video wall and shared them with everyone including members of the public who sat, looked and applauded some of the work. A truly memorable moment.
So, it’s safe to say that day 4 was a huge success!
