It’s been very much a week of planning in all our organisations this week.
Let me start with New Bridge Horizons.
It’s been another week of invitational meetings.
This week we have had updates from Spring Brook Lower, Spring Brook Upper and Springboard Project.
What a joy it has been.
It’s been very much a week of reflecting and planning.
We’ve had the “invitational meetings” for all our New Bridge sites, Hawthorns School and Hollinwood Academy.
Can I welcome everybody back after half term?
I hope everyone had the opportunity to have some sort of rest.
A shorter blog than usual this week.
I wrote a small piece in our MAT newsletter (available here) that thanked the staff teams for “chalking off” another half term.
This week we have spent quite an amount of time planning for the next academic year.
I’ve been busy, this week, in dealing with a number of National issues.
Quite a lot of my time, certainly earlier in the week, was spent dealing with the pandemic.
Another week passes.
So what have we been up to?
Last weekend we were sent advice regarding changes to the Lateral Flow tests (for staff).
I saw a super quote, on a forum, the other evening,
“What a week this year has been!”
So, lots to tell you all about.
Let’s start with an update on lateral flow tests (LFTs).
Happy New Year everyone.
I think it’s fair to say that the last couple of the weeks have been some of the most challenging in my career.
