Well, there goes another week. Talk about busy!
The beginning of the week started with a wonderful Christmas showcase.
I’m going to make my blog short and sweet this week.
After my mid-week rant (about school finances – again) I’ve decided to dedicate today’s blog to our school leaders.
I listened, this morning, to Amanda Spielman, Chief Inspector of Schools, with utter dismay.
It’s been an amazing week.
On Monday and Tuesday, I had the privilege of showcasing our trust’s work to BASE. BASE is the British Association for Supported Employment.
I’m sitting at Euston station writing this week’s blog. I’ve spent the day with the Department for Education discussing some key issues within our sector.
I’ve moved offices again this week. I’m still at New Bridge but have transferred to the other side of a corridor.
My new office is approximately 1.
This week we have seen all the young people return after half term.
It’s the time, in all of our organisations, where we really start to get into the ‘nitty gritty’.
It’s been another busy old week.
It’s been a week where I have had the opportunity to showcase our work.
On Tuesday I travelled down to London to present our iPad strategy to the National Teaching Schools Group.
It’s been a really productive week.
On Wednesday I spent the day hearing about the Bridge GM Careers Hub launch.
